@Desmond - Thanks for taking the effort to share your research! Looks like an interesting place to observe. Looking forward to your ob reports soon.

Regarding the path, do check if there are cyclists driving along it at night. Some of them may use bright white LED headlights which will kill dark-eye adaptation.
