Sky was clearer last night than previous night. So we had a nice star/moon-gazing session at Bishan Park.
Caught a lot of nice craters despite the very bright 16-day old Moon. Surprised to see Great Square of Pegasus and some stars in Andromeda with naked eyes despite their proximity to Moon and through thin haze. And seeing andromeda galaxy in the Celestron 80mm EDF refractor as well as the Sky-Watcher 8" GOTO dob.
As usual, crowd had a great time observing the Moon, taking pics with their phones and chatting astro with us.
Saw a few Chinese lanterns flying in the sky too.
We packed up around 1am and had a nice ba chor noodles at AMK.
