Marina Bay Sands Public Astro Event (July 2019)

Post by rcj »

To all astro-friends in the region:

We will be having a public outreach programme at MBS Art Science Museum once again. It has been almost 2.5 years since the last one, and for the upcoming event, it will be in conjunction with the Moon Landing Anniversary. It will be aptly held on the 20th July (Saturday). It will be a one-day event comprising of the following activities ranging from lectures/workshops, planetarium, stations, solar/star/moon gazing sessions, and more. Feel free to spread the word around your friends and family, all are encouraged to attend! We will also welcome volunteers, so if you like to bring your optical instruments for either solar/star/moon gazing segment, do let us know too! or if you have something interesting for the content of the stations, do share as well! we will also as usual need volunteers for the logistics side, audio/visual helpers, assistance in helping to explain booth contents, or at the gazing segments, etc. Excited! Hope to hear from you, please PM!

Cheers!
