Saw it too. Next time round, I shall track it with my portaball :) I am quite sure some features will be visible :)

BTW, the next favourable pass will be on 14 Sep starting at 19:17:24. Mag -0.7. Direction and altitude is similar to today's. Enjoy!

My gosh it was lovely, I had a almost 2 minutes view of it. Technology has made it so easy to identify its path.

Back in the mid 90's, I was sailing on a private yacht owned by a man wanting to spent his retired money sailing across the Ocean. While sailing across the pacific ocean, I saw a "retarted shooting start", but the yacht's engineer said that I saw a satellite and very lucky to see one because it is very rare. I thought to myself "of all the people( 6) on board, I saw it" I felt so previlaged to see a satellite...very grand!!!!" My second view was back in Singapore and it was also one of those moments that I just so happen to look up. From then on, somethimes I will just look up and hope to catch another glimpse, but I have not seen any since.

Than came Singastro, I relized that I do not need to look up at the sky and wish that I can see another satellite fly by. All I need to do is to tap on technology shared by those willing people and tonight is one of those night. It came to view at 8.08pm and ended like almost 2 minutes later with it flying across the "tea pot" as described.

It was a really nice sight!

Here's a pic I managed to catch with my camera. It's a 15 sec exposure (my camera maximum) just as it was fading off in Sagi.
