Sounds interesting. If there is good weather on Thursday and I can stay awake at such time, I can join you people there.

I guess that is almost impossible. That image is highly edited and have many images combined....

Unless the atmosphere is so steady, perhaps it *may* be possible but that is with a trained eye.

Hi,
Are we going to see something like what Chrisyeo posted on 29 Mar about Jupiter's Moon?
If excellent seeing, excellent clear sky and Canopus's Obby around, we might...   Anyway, the first two condition is near impossible with current weather condition, but you should be able to see the shadow (a big black dot) of the Jupiter's Moon move very slowly across the Jupiter's surface. Also, you should be able to see the Jupiter's Moon (a very small round dish) as it pass very slowly across Jupiter's "surface".

Have a nice day.

good show , weixing...3 nights will definitely increase the chance of clear skies...proves the CSN-Tampines is the most active one!

All newbies : You MUST drop by to learn from the guru because weixing is very teacher-like and always willing to share his experiences...

clear skies!

I'll try to capture some images if I'm able to make my eyepiece projection tube more stable than it is.

Have a nice day.
