My first astrophoto (Big Dipper of Ursa Major) was a very crude one. Your 'stars in the day' picture is certainly more refined
You may want to try the tutorial that boothee mentioned in the post on my first astrophoto. The post-processing technique will help to reduce the 'day look' and make your photo more like stars at night ;)

guys thanks for the very useful comments......appreciate so much... .Anyway thanks to Weixing for his wonderful thoughts on this little camera...very useful tip from him.... BTW here is another shot of the constellation scorpious with an aircraft fly by just above the tip of the tea pot........more comments pls.......
