And we had our drink yesterday all right!

Went there to check it out. Was quite bright due to the overcast sky and red clouds, but otherwise a decent ob ground considering that it's in the middle of town. The tarmac road provides solid ground for scopes, although it is a little slanted, so that we have to adjust our tripods accordingly. There's still some level ground for the big guns (aka dobs) to "station" at, if the dobs want to be there.

A little drizzle started half an hour after we reached.

Turf city is probably still a better choice, although we'd need to inform the management if we gotta go there, whereas this place is free for use.
Stargazing ... is an excuse to stay up past bedtime that never fails!

thousand apologies I had to bail last minute on Fri night. My friend's car batt was dead as we were leaving and I couldn't leave him alone.
