So sad I can't make it next week for mersing. Clear skies to all!!

I hope the idiot(s) who let the idiot escape be punished and shamed and hope that the idiot be caught soon. Then put him into a cell and throw the keys into the river Nile.

Hi folks,

Me and a few of my friends are driving up this Sat. Just wondering if any other of you ppl (that I know) are going up as well? [smilie=wow.gif] Mr. Xing Xing says he can't join us... [smilie=sigh.gif]

Will drop by the chalet to see Remus doing his astrophotography as well.

Understand there'll be jams at the custom, so we are driving up around 1pm. Unless that terrorist uncle can be found before Friday... [smilie=wtf.gif] Hmm... has extra space in their car to go up Mersing, but my friend's friends may want to drive back in the middle of the night, if the weather's not good. [smilie=lonly.gif]

At Pagoh R&R met some friends who just came back from mersing; cloudy and rain. [smilie=bad-atmosphere.gif]

2nd link usually no problem...its the causeway that's cause for concern.
its normally jammed on normal days and with the elections and the terrorist still not caught, it could get very bad...
There were reports of 3 hour jams!

David Lian wrote:Hi,
I'm keen to go to Mersing to join this ob on Sat, 8th March with "BORROWED" Corolla from my colleague.
I intent to pass him a fee for usage.(Sori no free lunch here) [smilie=beg.gif]
So far I have one guy 70% keen.
So there is space for two more to chip S$30 each. [smilie=bleeding.gif]
This should cover the fuel & tolls.
Balance will pass to my colleague as the "BORROWED" fee.
No meal provided.
any body keen please pm me ur contact. [smilie=confused.gif]
Also the scope you are bring along.
Meeting place at Krangi MRT at 3.00pm Sat 8th March 08.

I have to call off this trip as car is not avialable any more.
The owner worry about all those things rumoured to happen like election
riot, flooding etc.
Sorry to rlow.
May be some could give him a lift.

inclemental weather . Apparently weather at mersing can change very fast. so pray for clear skies.
