SingAstro Gathering cum Sidewalk Astronomy

Post by weixing »

Hi,
Someone suggested to me that may be we can have a SingAstro gathering cum Sidewalk Astronomy at the end of this month (and year)... may be on the 26 Dec (Saturday)... the day after Christmas.

I think it's a good idea since it's been quite a long time from the last gathering... Anyone had any ideas and suggestion??

Have a nice day.

Let's have a Christmas telescope decoration contest!
[80% Steve, 20% Alfred] ------- Probability of Clear Skies = (Age of newest equipment in days) / [(Number of observers) * (Total Aperture of all telescopes present in mm)]

... and add some cotton wool around the objective lens for the 'snow' effect....

but seriously, I can bring a nice 'old' modified scope which you guys can decorate... but kindly leave the optics intact.
