To all newcomers without a telescope reading this, I highly encouraged you guys to join this trip and/or the next one in the following weekend.

Think about it, if someone give you $130 to do a research on what is the good telescope buy, what would you do? Just buy a couple of books and a toy scope to learn about stargazing in light-polluted Singapore skies?

Or a 3 day 2 nights dark sky hands-on experience with a variety of big scopes and face-to-face advise from veterans about the scopes, stargazing techniques and buying tips? How about doing all that in a laid back relaxed seaside environment? :)

Especially for students, the year-end exam period is approaching in a couple of months. This is may be your best opportunity for the rest of the year. What are the chances of Perseid Meteor showering on a moonless night? :)
