Eunos Stargazing Session (next Friday 14th Jan) [CANCELLED]

Post by rcj »

Let's have another Eunos stargazing session. The last one was not possible due to bad weather. Tentative next Friday. Open to all including beginners. Weather permitting. More updates as the date nears.

An update for the stargazing activity that is to be tomorrow. Looking at the weather pattern, the obvious "big patch" of the cloud system surrounding Sumatra, Eastern and and Peninsula Malaysia appears to be disintegrating. We might just have a chance to observe tomorrow. In any case, will update this thread tomorrow early evening for the final "go-ahead" (or not). Or you could call me at 8-2-triple three-798 to check on the status.

Time: 830pm onwards at the field

Hi Remus,

I saw some floats and decorations for CNY being put up at the open area beside the Eunos MRT. Are you referring to this site or the small open area opposite the main road with HDB blocks?

Cheers

stargazer: it's the field located opposite the CNY event activity that is along Sims Avenue. Please see the google street view link in the first post of this thread. As long as you can spot the mosque, it is the field adjacent to it.

shirox: yes, you can park your car directly in front at the parking lots next to this field.

update: Gary, Guangwei, Yuan Huan (fizzy123) will be dropping by.

But fellas! it is best to call me to check on status before really coming! Hopefully no huge downpour! If it is scattered clouds with openings, the session would still be considered on. I can try to bring down other setups for viewing too, as long as someone can help me to look after the existing setup at the field, without running away with it.
