Observing Jupiter

Still able to view Jupiter ?? Always like to have a first hand view of Jupiter and Saturn :)

Jupiter rise quite late about 1 am and saturn will be visible after sun set about 6+ but by the time saturn is quite low alredy

Jupiter will be visible for months. Best time to view it is during opposition in January 2014.

Yes. You will never forget the feeling and where you were at when you see Jupiter (and Saturn) for the first time in your life through a telescope!

Closest to Earth during their orbit around Sun and Sun-Earth-Planet in a straight line.

Jupiter's Great "Red" Spot transiting at 5:31am tomorrow morning 18 Oct. Weather permitting, Jupiter at nice 63° altitude to observe it in Singapore.

Great "Red" Spot visible at centre of Jupiter's disc at around 6:17am tomorrow morning 26 Oct.

Jupiter GRS 2:40am - 5:50am. Transit 04:26am

Io shadow transit 9:57pm - 00:10am.

Europa shadow transit 00:26am - 03:03am.
