You are certainly very dedicated, to fly there at the last minute and then spend two nights camped out in a car. A great achievement!

Thanks all for the kinds words! Finally after Hale-Bopp in 1997, I see a great comet; better still, under the pristine Australian southern sky. Dream come true indeed.

This year and next C/2011 L4 PANSTARRS will come with great potential. Hope it lives up to our expectations and all of us can see another great comet!

Hi Kochu,

Thanks for helping provide the chart. From the latest images, it seems that the comet has faded dramatically, certainly not as long lasting as McNaught.
