Hi All
Thanks Richard for the upload. For a iT zeros like me thats a difficult job.THANKS again Richard
Now to the photos.
On the day of the eclipse, sky is superclear in my area....and its towards the end that a few clouds show up...a surprise given that it rained heavily
the last afternoon. I decided to shot it in Ha and
blue light for max resolution. ...to be continued.

I decided to shot in Ha..0.5A bandwidth as this will made the faint prominence and surface features like filaments show up and as the sun
is going into the 'dying' part of cycle 24 its only logical to do that
Well it did show up---prominence, filaments, and
bright regions.See photos attached.
As for sunspots, its best shown using single colour filters and for best response for my camera
blue light is chosen. Note the sunspots captured.
The only thing that cannot be captured in a place
where only partial eclipse occur is the corona
and the feel during totally.

Hi All
This solar cycle24 comes to an end today.
Exactly 11 years ago on 17 may the sun flared (photo on taso solar image thread) I detected this last outburst. This time no such outburst even occur.......only 2 small spot suddenlyoccur which I think is not worth to put up.

Moderators please close thread.
If interesting events happen on the sun and I capture it ; it will be under solar minimum photo......2017 to......... .
Also if possible please archive those images.
They are not easy to come by and uses many man-hours of work.
The only regret I have is not able to capture the solar tsunami (which I saw only once and affected
almost 1/4 to 1/3 of the sun.)
Thanks for watching and actions taken.

Thanks for sharing! I will keep this thread open still so that new forummers can still see your images and discuss. :)
