Attached are two images I took by handholding my iPad looking through the eyepiece of my 12.5" telescope. They are unprocessed. Turns out not bad for such crude way of taking images. Considering that the iPad camera is pretty lousy and far inferior to a iPhone5 camera.

Ha actually it started out I wanted to show my 20 month old daughter the moon. Was afraid she cannot view through the eyepiece so thought of using the iPad large screen to show her. Turned out she manged to view the 'big moon' when I carried her to the eyepiece. The iPad did manage to capture the moon when held steadily. The actual view through the eyepiece is still much better.
