My Astrophotography Progress (in random order)

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Nice lightning shots! But do take care of your own safety when attempting such shots. The lightning looks near and you seems to be shooting at open fields. perhaps next time shoot under a shelter will be better. :)

thanks for advice!

visually it's looked near and i also initially guessed it was within 5km but after checking NEA-MSS Lightning information service(2230-2300hrs), those bolts were actually ard Tengah/Kranji forested area(my direction is facing that too). anyway after the 3rd shots, i bolted back to another HDB to continue but that was the last...

http://online.weather.gov.sg/lightning/ ... cation.jsp checked 21/11/13, 2230-2300hrs under Hourly/Daily Lightning Strike.
