Beautiful! Worth the trip!
Is the renovation there over? Especially the most northern part of the beach?

shot near nicoll highway stn, a few hours ago. though this foto not exactly astro-related, but this was shot toward the Sagittarius/Scorpio direction. some of the brighter stars were still captured.

Nice shot! Thanks for sharing. Such photos have a nice effect on those who just conveniently assume we can't see any stars in Singapore because of light pollution.

Nice shot. can't figure out what those 3 stars in a row are... Not enough to draw a constellation...

Re: My Astrophotography Progress (in random order)
this was a photo shot by my friend, n he "insist" that it was a meteor. he exposed for 30s n said this "meteor" appeared at abt 29.5s. juz need to know am i correct that this is not a meteor?
Re: My Astrophotography Progress (in random order)
Looks like an airplane. Too evenly lit up (perhaps due to over-processing?).
This is a good example of TWO meteors captured recently by UK Meteor Network:
Leftmost = plane. The rest = meteors.

Re: My Astrophotography Progress (in random order)
ya! saw many fotos on my fb timeline, all claiming a meteor... anw not sure is my analogy correct to explain to my friend. was using a needle or 2 , either 1 end is fat, the other is sharp or combined the 2 fat end of the needle where 2 end are sharp with centre bulging. since im not authoritive enuff to assert the plane streak claim, me juz let my comment died off, hahaha...Gary wrote:Looks like an airplane.
