Hi folks, just want to share another image of Eta Carina Nebula....again....lol. This was taken on early April, the sky condition was a far cry from ideal, so this was not the intended object to capture by choice, but was the only object bright enough to "shine" through the foggy sky. All was not lost, at least I got to try out the full frame camera on the imaging Newtonian. Vignetting is not as severe as I had anticipated.
Imaging set up: AP Mach 1 GTO, 8" Orion Optics UK Newtonian, Modified Canon 5D2, Baader MPCC III. 9x8min @ 1600 ISO
The sky was pretty cloudy .

Kelvin
Well done. Giving your Mach 1 a chance to flex its muscle.
Must join you one of these days.
Clear skies.

Welcome back Kelvin! Been a while since I last saw an image from you. Must have been very busy accumulating large telescopes!
Nice one, by the way!
