My very first attempt on Saturn!
Was out on Bedok South field late, and Saturn was up... A passing auntie was looking through my small 4" refractor, and even though I had barlowed it 2.5x for 190x mag, "...so small ah!"
Gave up, stuck on a 4x barlow and the webcam, digitally zoomed in and had a large "live" image on my laptop!
That's when the kids started running over lol!
...and since it was already set up... couldn't resist hitting the "Record" button...
So here it is! Was pleasantly surprised to get somewhat decent details on a small 4" scope!
Saturn, 2014-04-12, taken through a FSQ-106, 4x Powermate, ASI 120MM webcam.

Re: First attempt on Saturn!
Considering the small aperture, a pretty good shot.
Is image stack with Registax?
Thanks for sharing.

Excellent ! Beautiful shot lqx, nice texture, perfect symmetry, high contrast, power of FSQ-106, ur shot somewhat gave me confidence to stick to using "small" refractor for imaging (loved the un-matched contrast but hate the kilo dollars increase per cm increase in aperture) ..
