Solar System objects

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

[smilie=admire.gif] Awesome! Love the sharpness in the solar ones that I can even start to see granular details!
And the Saturn! C ring, B ring, Cassini div, A ring, Enke div, and even a faint F ring! wow! [smilie=bye2.gif]

[smilie=evil-smile.gif] could I beg for imaging details for those few images please?

Thx Chianboon and Qixiang :)

The planets were taken through my C6, while the Sun and Moon were taken through my William Optics ZS66. The Celestron NexImage 5 was used.

Basically just take as many frames as possible and then hope that Registax does its magic! :)

Beautiful! Very impressed with C6's performance especially on Mars. Keep shooting and sharing!

Thanks, Gary :) I think I was blessed with reasonably good seeing that night.

My only regret is that none of these were imaged near zenith. I'm too lazy to go out so I have to image indoor. I lose the objects about 50 to 60 degrees up.

Very active sun these days..:)
I miss the place where stars shine bright, to gaze upwards in awe of the sight

Managed to image the sun today at low elevation before it set. Many sun spots!

Nice shot. You can change your nickname to small black spots! :)
