So last night I dragged my equipment down to catch Jupiter's moon transit. Tak Mewlon 210 in pelican case, Ioptron ZEQ25 in case + 3 counterweights + tripod, laptop and foldable chair .... yes ... all by myself in 1 trip ....

Managed to set up at 11:30pm and waited all the way till 2:30 for the Great Red Spot. Lots of passing low clouds. Wind was very very strong, hence preventing me from taking longer captures. Only one out of the many transit images was decent, I think .... But with this kind of weather I should be thankful for what I managed to get. So let me share some spoils from last night.

Thanks, Chia. There were quite a few strangers who came over for a peek. Quite a populated area so I think it is okay.

More from last night. Again, windy condition affected image quality ... Seeing was also not to say very good, as confirmed by visual observation ... Will try again
