Hey all, I recently started with astronomy 4 months ago. It's been great looking into the stars with what I had and could make do in Singapore where light pollution is almost everywhere! Anyways, here are some pictures I took through an iPhone in progressing order:
Celestron Travelscope Portable 70 (my very first telescope!):
Brought it out to Yishun Dam area for a test shot!
One of the best moon shots I ever got with this telescope!
Brought it out during the lunar eclipse!
Celestron Astromaster 70AZ (my 2nd telescope!):
Field day out at Changi Coast Road!
Pointing to the moon!
A shot of the "Harvest" moon during September!
Close up shot through the 10mm eyepiece
A shot of the entire moon
Celestron Nexstar 102SLT (my third telescope I got through the 2nd hand market!):
The telescope pointed out of the window!
A shot of one of the few stars I captured through the telescope, Aldebaran!
Jupiter and its moons [I couldn't really get a proper shot of it because I left my filters at home. ]
The moon, or half of it
Another close up shot of the moon
Hoped you guys liked it! More to come on my journey to the stars!

Nice effort, Solidlight
Yishun dam is a popular place for car gatherings. Make sure to avoid the cars!
Have not seen that type of scope for a while now. I recall a previous member Samuel having an 60mm Tasco refractor. He wore it around his shoulder like a Wuxia warror when packed! I nearly bought a Meade Saturn 80mm refractor too but ended up with an ETX90RA. Looking forward to your journey through our fascinating universe!
