M1 Crab Nebula from Jurong East

Post by kochu »

All along I thought that imaging M1 from Singapore is very difficult. So I never really bothered to try it.
Yesterday, as luck would have it, skies were extremely clear after midnight and I could carry on imaging till 6 am. That also towards Northwest Horizon till M1 was about 10-15 deg up

My first try at M1.

That's a very bright crab Kochu! With this successful, I suppose you will be revisiting similarly difficult objects like the horsehead again ? :)
