Hi Alfred
Nice pictures. The only gap in the sky these few
days occur during the early morning
only.Must had been a difficult catch.

Hi Mr Chia,
Thanks for your kind words. Yes, it was difficult to catch the Sun on 23 July. I started watching it from 7:30 am. The gap came after it went past 12 noon. This was how the mount looked when the flaring took place :)

The seeing condition was terrible. The video looked like boiling. And to make it even worst, I was trying how it look with a 5x barlow. I didn't want to change back to 3x barlow because the flares looked so fascinating and I just carried on with the videoing until the clouds covered the whole sky. Regretted not getting the end part of the flare but I was very glad to have caught it!!
