When the close duo planets rose to a certain height and began to shine brightly, they add much to the dawn vista.

Yes, planet Saturn joins the duo and makes the quick short trip all worthwhile.

24 hours later, the position of both Jupiter and Mercury has changed significantly (refer to the star near Jupiter). Mercury is really fast.

Notice the innermost Galilean moon IO is actually behind the disk of Jupiter but about the rise from the limb.

The moon is in Ophiuchus near the border with Scorpius, especially near the supergiant Antares. I did not carry any tracking mount other than a tripod, otherwise I would have tried some milkyway shots.

Hi guys, here's my first post on this forum ^^

How do you guys post images? I can't seem to import any files as the system keeps on saying my JPEG files are too big...

There is a file limit of 3MB for attachments.

I usually use embedded photo urls by "[ img ].... [ /img ]"
