My First few pics

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Hi Kochu,
Glad to know you have solved your PCB problems and finally putting your LX90 to good use. As you drive, hope that you will be able to drop by Dempsey more often now!
Your attached pictures did not appear. I am assuming you did not modify your images. there is a limit of 120K image size to insert here. Unless you process the image, you will have to put them under the "albums" section instead. create a new folder called "kochu" if you like.

else go to your image editor and downsize your images to 72 dpi and around 50mm in width.

wow....so that's what an 8" goto to achieve! I see alot of details on Saturn and Jupiter seems to pop out! Surprising your pics are soft and is not overly contrasty like what "normal" philips toucam pics are guilty of. very nice.
Now you have fired up my urge for an 8" goto!
As for M42, its quite good although I suspect it can even be better as you finetune the exposure timings and focussing....

keep the efforts rolling!
