Hi,
Thanks for all the reply, but no picture can describe the awesomeness of being really under the Milky Way itself.

Hi, I used cheap Nikon 70-300mm autofocus zoom lens. You know those really cheap types where the lens mounting base is plastic. Sigh it also causes the stars to have blue halos (its not ED) in the full res pic.

I assume there was some sort of tracking? , .i.e the camera was mounted oin your scope?

ya, its f5. Yes, the SS2K with 3 star align creates good enough tracking for 3 mins, not more. Its mounted on the scope.
Then someone ask me for longitude and latitude of that place, then I realised I am using Singapore long. and lat. ! and I did not adjust the altitude on the mount. No wonder only 3 mins good tracking without trailing.
