Lumenera 2nd light: Ring Nebula

Post by Meng Lee »

Hi all,

Cloudy nights seem to dominate. I can't even take the L channel properly. Let alone RGB. 5x 10s exposure at 12bit. Sum stacked. High pass filter in photoshop.

Lumenera with Vixen ED115S. This camera is so low noise! No dark frames taken. Hot pixels removed by clone stamp.

Err... I think noise shouldn't be big problem on a 10s exposure.

Anyway, nice Ring Nebula with central star easily visible. :)

Have a nice day.

Hehe, I mean the noise in 10s is so low that you see no noise in the original image. It appears only after stretching. about 10 hot pixels only!
