Congratulation to William Chin (Universe24)

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Thanks Remus!

I'll definitely grab Sept issue of S&T, still waiting for its release. Everything arrives late down under

When I saw this scene in front of me, I feel like off the planet. Looking at the world from heaven....my god!
If you guys has chances to visit Mt.Kinabalu in Sabah, East Malaysia, you all must try to see this type of scene.

subscribe to it then....its cheaper and you get it earlier. But the couriers do fail you and you end up with 2 issues arrriving at the same time but that is rare...

cheers

Hi Rich,

Yea I thought about it, unfortunately my mail arrives in another building's common reception so anyone can just grab others' mail so until I move to my own place I don't think I'll subscribe anything yet...

that's a fantastic image!
i'm going up the weekend of 7th sep.
there'll be no moon, so i won't get the cloud and landscape...
hoping to get a silhouette of the summit with background star field - hopefully the milky way will be in the right position...
weight is the big consideration, with my current fitness level, i'll probably need to hire a porter  hmmm... may be i can bring a mount up there then... then may be not, the porters charge by kg

fingers cross
