...... and so The Color is once again my guest .......

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Narrow filters never give natural color and even color pallettes occour.
Red chanel is replaced by SII data
Green chanel is replaced by Ha data
Blu chanel is replaced by OIII data
SII:Ha:OIII elaboration gives you 'Mapped color'; the risult is quite amazing

Oh ok, so you are using SHO palatte, the Hubble's palatte. How about process it in HOS scheme and show us again. Thanks, I hope to compare the different schemes.

Hi all,

I have a problem with my comp ever since i formatted it recently, i cant see any posted images, not even those i post myself but I know its there. All the icons and smileys have a red cross in a white box, as well as the Post new and Reply to buttons, etc. Is there some setting I have to activate?
I miss the place where stars shine bright, to gaze upwards in awe of the sight

How the heck did you manage to capture to colours that the nebula gas radiates so prominently!?

We say that I succeded in elaborating narrow filters' data engraving a personal touch to the image. The posted image is a preliminar version; you would see the final version on my web-site www.digitalastro.it
