Milky Way in colour

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Milky Way in colour

Post by Barry »

This one was fun to do.

Ten images on the static tripod, 35 seconds each. Four x darks subtracted.

Canon 400D
EFS 18-55mm lens
ISO1600

I turned up the saturation a touch as I was going for something dramatic.

I hope you like it.

Baz.

That is quite astonding, it looks just like the pro pics in the magzines. The saturation change was good, really made it look like one of hubble's.
Blast off!!!!!!!

Milky Way can be seen as faint patchy areas from Malaysian beaches but not as clearly as from Australian outback
