Eyepiece-mate

Post by anat »

Hi:

I would like to share with you my solution to make the time at eyepieces become more comfortable. Closing one eye while seeing through an eyepiece is not comfortable for me. So, I add a dummy eyepiece made from a black film storage. Now, I can observe with both eyes open. The right eye sees the darkness.

Hi Anat.
That's pretty unique...I thought putting a black cloth over your head could also do the trick...the advantage of the black cloth is it blocks out stray light as well...
