Shall I build a 14.5"???

Wanna make a scope? Or better still, grind a mirror yourself. Or, you have some good tips in making a really useful accessory? This is the place to show what your hands can do...

Yeah.. without 'Steves', what are we going to look at during cloudy nights?
[80% Steve, 20% Alfred] ------- Probability of Clear Skies = (Age of newest equipment in days) / [(Number of observers) * (Total Aperture of all telescopes present in mm)]

Look at markets and investment. Things that make money so that you get money when the cloud clears.
Hmm... you sound like the cloud will only clear after a few years... don't like that leh... ha ha ha :P :P :P

It's been decided, I'll build a 14.5" with my own bare hands :D :D
I have asked Ed Stevens to make me a nice f/4.5 mirror, it will probably take one year for me to build this scope. In the meantime, I'm a happy camper with my 10" Zambuto...

With this, this thread is considered CLOSED :D
