A similar 75" focal length newtonian (e.g. 15" f/5) will probably have the same height.

you need to join the chingay stilt walkers so they can teach you how to walk on stilts. otherwise how are you able to see through the eyepiece?? :lol:

No, i'm not going to make a 75" fl scope :-)
The aluminum tubes will be shortened to support up to 60" fl optics. Thinking of getting 12" f/5 primary from Mark Suchting of NSW, Australia. His mirrors are certified to 1/50th ptv wavefront. If that happens, the ID of the wooden rings need to be expanded/cut to 13.5" (currently 12" ID for my 10" optics).

aud1700 for 12f5, aud2400 for 14f5
