Any a metal workshop that can cut telescope tube?

Wanna make a scope? Or better still, grind a mirror yourself. Or, you have some good tips in making a really useful accessory? This is the place to show what your hands can do...

Any a metal workshop that can cut telescope tube?

Post by VinSnr »

Hi guys,

Do you know if there is any metal working shop that can cut aluminum tubes? Any recommended ones?

I am sure there is shop in Spore that can do this, but would like to know the recommended ones who don't mind cutting just one tube.

Thanks
Vin

yes should be fine. they do all sorts of custom jobs for people. google ntt precision, and you can email simon ng the cad drawing or bring it down for a quotation. should not be very expensive. tell him brandon(helicopter) recommended.

hi amin! are you looking for an adaptor for the focuser for your scope? just go to scopestuff and order the adaptors. they have them in stock.

bro i know that they have the adapter ring but what makes me worry is that, it seems like it will only fit for the GSO focuser...anyway is there anyone here fit the WO focuser with scopestuff adapter ring???? my intension to go custom made flange reducer from 5" to 4" diameter so that I can still use the WO 114mm adapter ring that originally bought from you so that the rotatable function still can be utilise... :) :) :)
