Hello all,
I just finished another project to wifi-enable DSLRs. Now we can wirelessly
control the shutter, exposure and camera setting. In addition, files can be
downloaded via Wifi. There are a lot of possibilities for applications.
Three components are required:
1) ARM9 board (US$89)

2) wifi dongle (about US$10)
TP-Link TL-WN321G WiFi USB

3) A usb hub (a few US dollars)
I use the Gphoto2 library in Linux to control DSLRs. We recompiled source codes
so that it works in ARM-linux. Re-compilation is the complicated part of this
project. Almost any current and future DSLRs in the market which support the PTP
protocol can be wifi-enabled I am preparing the software package and will
upload it for anyone to use. The installation is simple.
This seems to be the cheapest and the most comprehensive wifi solution for DSLRs.
Best regards,
Anat
