6 inch f/8 Skywatcher objective lens, truss refractor build

Wanna make a scope? Or better still, grind a mirror yourself. Or, you have some good tips in making a really useful accessory? This is the place to show what your hands can do...

I saw this scope this evening, and it is nicely done! Unfortunely the rain prevented us from setting this up for viewing. I am happy that Sarjeet has put this lens to good use, otherwise it would be languishing in my dry cabinet.

Thanks Cataclysm [Kelvin right?] and Andrew for the compliments.

Not only was Richard's lens put to good use, his 12 inch dovetail plate was also the right size! The Howie Glatter collimator I got from him was also timely when I needed to install my focuser.

And not to forget the 9x50mm finder!

Oh yeah, I didn't realize so many components were from me, not just the lens.

Not really lah, you can leave out my name please. I am only the supplier, Sarjeet deserves full credit for his work.

Maybe you should leave a space or comma as in 10,000. Just last week someone else mention you as one thousand rpm...
