Well, no one seems to be keen on buying my 8 in LX 90 , though it was in the market for over 4 years.
So I made a strong DIY wedge to use the scope for AP. Now only a peg for drift alignment remains to be made.
Clamp reinforces the hold on bottom base in addition to the central bolt.
Ball bearings helps to support the weight of the rotating part of the base.

I like the Ball-bearing support and counterweights....great piece of innovation!
Now you can place a can of beer at the back of the wedge as a small snack bar...HAHA!
