Hello all, just wanted to share how you can make inexpensive durable dew shield on your own. You might find this useful. I've made one....it works and it cost me:
1. Foam sleeping pad: S$8 (you can get at camping shops - there's one at Tampines Mall. Get one that's grey color)
2. Glue : S$6 (make sure it sticks on foam)
3. Velcro : S$8 (Brand: 3M, available at DIY shops)
Total cost : S$22 (compare this with Astrozap flexible dew shield, which looks cool but costs S$80+ for a 6 inch OTA and you would probably have to import it. Not sure how much the Celestron one at Astro Scientific costs)
