Partial Lunar Eclipse of 08 September 2006

Hi,
There will be a Partial Lunar Eclipse at 08 September 2006 (Singapore Local Time). Timing are as follow:
Penumbral Eclipse Begins:
00:42:23 Singapore Local Time

Partial Eclipse Begins:
02:05:03 Singapore Local Time

Greatest Eclipse:
02:51:21 Singapore Local Time

Partial Eclipse Ends:
03:37:41 Singapore Local Time

Penumbral Eclipse Ends:
05:00:20 Singapore Local Time

Please note that above timing is Singapore Local Time, which mean that it is on Friday Early Morning.... You still had to go to work or school after this... :P

I've been waiting for that event!

But the rain is still falling in our country(Yangon-Myanmar).

Yeah, but please be informed that the eclipse at maximum only covers a very small part of the moon (~20% according to WX) ... :) Just so that no one gets disappointed after staying up late ... :)
I for one will be staying late, camping with friends ... then work tomorrow. HAHA ...

We, Myanmar Astronomy & Science Enthusiasts, had a chance to observe the partial lunar eclipse this morning. Luckily, the rain stop falling since 3 days before partial eclipse 2006 and no rain until now.

I'm happy to share some of the photos that we've taken this morning.

Photo taken through my previous scope, 114mm 700m reflector on fork mount.

Camera: Samsung Digital Point and Shoot
Method: Afocal
