well...at least its a consolation for the loss of the Beagle...looks like snoopy won't be calling home...

Let's hope that "Spirit" brother - "Opportunity" will also land sucessfully on Mars at 24 Jan.

of course...as the chinese couplet goes : " good luck always comes in pairs".
remember the Vikings ? I was reading about them and apparently, they are currently non-operative and corroding away inspite that there is little oxygen in the atmosphere...
