ETA ( etaAquarids) 2008

Post by ykchia »

Hi folks:

ETA ( Halley's comet debris) meteor shower peaked May 6 2am onwards but activities didnt get pick up till one hour later when the radiant rises higher. This time round i have 2 cameras sticking out the study window - a wider 6mm and the usual 'closer look' 25mm.

You can see the composite images here as well as earlier bright ETA.

But this morning the clouds were back...

Nice composites!

I can count at least 8 eta-aquarids in the wide-field image.
