who??? no problem for me
i still a newbie, mah...
anyway, will be cutting down on my "up" time here as my harddisk conked on me suddently. have to go and buy a hardisk and will have to spend several days tweaking and installing software.
the damn thing failed on my without warning, so many of my newly taken family photos and movies are now lost! ...and my last backup is one month ago!!! sigh

Hi,
You should get an external hard disk for backup...

Hi,
What you need is a hardware or software RAID... :)

Hi, well maybe not anything else but luck is what you need, airconvent. None of my hard disks died on me once. The average "time to die" for a hard disk is easily 5 to 7 years, so it's really bad luck you had one that died before 10. I've heard hard disks working for 10 years, though they must be really old and small. :D
