Hi,
Has the [img] tag been disabled?
It can't be used anymore to add images into posts.
Regards,
Chris
[img] tag not working?
<img src="http://www.singastro.org/album_pic.php?pic_id=300">
I see. I used to be able to add album pictures but it doesn't work now.
Regards, Chris
Hi Yong Quan,
Maybe just to clarify. I understand that the the link I used is a weblink. This is the only way I know how to access to the pictures in the Singastro album. Before the upgrade, I could use the [img] tag to display the album photos by doing it the exact way above. I was only wondering why it does not work now when it used to.
It would have been more helpful if you could have pointed out that the [img] tag now works only for .jpg and .gif extensions.
Sincerely,
Chris

Hi Chris,
It is sensible that the [img] tag is for attaching links with image extension and the [url] tag is for the linking purposes.
The current version of the forum irons out the problem of using img to display the weblink due to secruity reasons. In other forums elsewhere, people have abusing the bug and cause loss of bandwidth allocated to their server. So I think the next time I upgrade a forum, it is better for me to post the bugs fixed or the secruity patch up? If it will help, I will do so.
