Annular Solar Eclipse 26 Dec 2019

Post by rifleman175 »

The astronomical event of the year has to be the annular solar eclipse on 26 Dec 2019. Here are the images taken at the Esplanade Waterfront during the annular phase of the eclipse:

The equipment used is a William Optics GT71, with the 0.8x flattener and ASI1600MM cooled. The telescope is mounted on a Skywatcher EQM-35 Pro mount with solar tracking turned on.

Enjoy! :mryellow:

I know it has been a week since the eclipse, but I finally got down to processing the narrowband pictures.
