Alright, this is for sharing of your observation experience. Or, if you are arranging gatherings, star-gazing expeditions or just want some company to go observing together, you can shout it out here.
Is it some kind of parhelia? Like those really bright spots/areas of the sun.. I cannot really remember clearly the exact details but roughly that's about it. And i think we can only see it clearly when the sun is low-lying..am i right to say that?
well i reckon the clouds were only visible in bishan .. seems it was EXTREMELY clear abt 6-7pm? hmm...amazing how so few people noticed it..well sundogs are refracted light from the sun on the clouds and are visible as rough trianglur thingys on the 2 sides stef and geraldine it is a parhelia
didn't see yesterday (wasn't at bishan but i dun think would be exclusively visible there lah ) but seen before just after sunrise.. seen sun halo and moon halo before too, one huge ring of light around the sun/moon.. haha quite cool, atmospheric phenomena that appear when the right kind of clouds come in..
