Well, since you are already considering the Astromart option, and as one amateur astronomer to another (:lol:) , I'm sure you'll be able to get it at a much better price on Astromart. The US-Euro exchange rate is much more favourable than S$ to Euro, so the prices at which the Americans are letting theirs go at will seem more attractive to us Singapore based folks.
Even if I let my personal one go now, the price won't be that attractive to those seeking a great deal since mine is still relatively new. I'm looking at somewhere around S$750 if you ask me, for the 1-arm head and quick release saddle plate.
Just as a guide, I'm selling brand new ones out of Germany for S$850 and this includes : Giro 2-DX 1-arm version + quick release saddle plate + shipping + Singapore 5% GST.
Or if you like, I could help you to check with my German contact on whether or not he has any used ones available before you go to Astromart. Let me know.
