Astronomy software Recommendations

Post by Ekezial »

Titles so far i've tried :

Starry Night Deep Space Explorer - Good for those who want a tour of the known universe. user friendly.

Deepsky2000 (DAS) - Advance software, somewhat steep learning curve(for me that is),has nice pics, Got even more pics on the DVD.

post your favourite astronomy software titles that you use pls!
Thanks!

Breeze Browser Pro - Great for digital photography
GuideDog - had some fun with 2 cheapo webcams and an PLC

and i got my fast bandwidth hands on Meade AutoStar Suite

1)damn easy to use
2)Nice starmap - great view controls
3)Ephemeris of lots of objects
4)remote control for your Meade scope
5)some image processing - somewhat buggy here

Starry Night Pro 3.12, not the best, but more than enough.
