Used Celestron Nexstar 5 for sale. Excellent condition.

The Nexstar5 has a well-built mount and well-engineered gear-sets with minimal gear backlash -> accurate GOTOs everytime with no hassle of motor calibration/training... No toy-car gearsets in this scope! :wink:

The OTA has been upgraded with Bob's Knobs (collimation knobs), so no tools is required for this essential task.


Scope comes with

1) heavy-duty tripod
2) Celestron 20mm plossol
3) Orion flexible dew shield.

SGD1100 excluding shipping from USA to Sg.

To save on shipping, purchase the scope without the tripod for SGD 1050.

Wat do u mean by + shipping? Is the $1100 inclusive of the shipping? Did u buy it second hand or first hand? Wat version?

No, the $1100 does NOT include shipping from USA to Singapore.

Its the 2nd release of Nexstar 5 (w/o GPS) that comes with the upgraded steel tripods. To save on shipping costs, the scope is available for sale without tripod for SGD 1050.


I bought it second-hand from Astromart. Nice solid mount, minimal backlash in the gears, GOTO works flawlessly.

Thanks for the alert! :) But I do not plan to acquire another scope here...

The N5 sale is to make it more palatable for me to put down the deposit for a larger scope that I am considering to purchase & ship to Sg. So you see my aperture fever has become more serious than you have suspected... 8)
