Does anyone still go mersing??

Hi everyone!
Been a very passive member since the yahoo group days. Anyway, there used to be regualr trips to mersing, like twice a year, does anyone still organise such trips? Cos I don't see any post about mersing lately. Somebody fill me in??

mersing's a town in malaysia. theres a field there where u get very dark skies and many singastro-ians stake out the place quite often.. haven't been there myself so can't describe much.

kochu: so when are u planning to go in mar, if weather is good? can we tag along? how many nights do you all usually stay there?

From newspaper, the current weather condition in some part of Malaysia is very bad due to the forest fire... smoke and very hazy. Wonder will it affect Mersing??

It just rained yesterday, for the first time in many days I think, so situation shld get better hopefully.
